Your data stays here

No tracking cookies, no ads, and nothing shared with anyone. This is all there is.

This app uses no tracking cookies, has no ads and shares nothing with anyone. Your name, your readings and your diary are kept on your own phone. If one day you create a code so as not to lose your progress, it is also stored on the app's server — and only with that code can it be recovered. We count how many people come in, which link they arrive from and what gets used inside: how many readings, how many alerts, how many people come back. They are loose numbers, with nothing that identifies you: we don't store your IP, nor an identifier of your phone, nor a cookie. That's why this app doesn't ask you for cookie consent: there are none to ask about. There is only one exception, and it's when you write on the wall: so that nobody can flood it, a short fingerprint of your device is stored, impossible to reverse. And what's worth knowing, even though it isn't in our hands: the site is served by a hosting company, and its server sees your connection the same way any page you visit sees it.

Said more slowly

What stays on your phone and never leaves

Your name, your readings, your journal, the objects you save, your palm reading, your cycle if you note it, and the settings. All of that lives in your browser's storage. If you clear the site data, it's gone — for us too, because we never had it.

The camera, and the photo of your hand

To read your palm the app asks for the camera. While it's open, the image is examined right here several times a second to tell whether you're properly positioned — none of that is recorded or sent: it's looked at and thrown away, frame by frame.

The photo that gets taken isn't uploaded either. It's analysed on the phone itself, on the same canvas where it's drawn, and discarded when you leave the screen. There's no upload, no server and no model to download.

And the camera switches off when you leave, however you leave: the back button, the escape key, or going to another screen halfway through. If you change your mind while the browser is asking you for permission, it doesn't stay on either.

Where you are

Those coordinates are stored on your phone and don't leave it.

What is counted

How many people come in, which link they arrive from and what gets used inside. They're loose numbers: “40 people opened the calendar today”. Your IP address is not stored, nor an identifier of your phone, nor a cookie. That's why this site doesn't ask you for cookie consent — there are none to ask about.

The two exceptions, stated in full

If you create a code so as not to lose your progress, your data is copied to the server associated with that code. Only with it can the data be retrieved, and only you have it.

If you write on the wall, a short fingerprint of your device is stored — impossible to reverse — so that nobody can flood it. Your IP is never stored at any point.

The email, if you leave one

If you ask us to let you know about an eclipse, your email is stored and nothing else. It's used for that and nothing else, isn't passed on to anyone, and every notice carries its unsubscribe link.

If you pay

The payment is processed by Stripe and your card details never pass through here at any point: they go straight to them. We receive whether the payment went through and nothing more.

To exercise your rights — access, rectification, erasure, portability — write to hola@tarotdorado.app. Con la mayoría de los datos no hace falta: están en tu teléfono y los borras tú desde los ajustes de la app.

Preguntas

Does this site use cookies?
It uses no tracking or advertising cookies. That's why you won't see a banner asking for consent: there's nothing to ask about.
Is my data shared with anyone?
No. There are no ads, no third-party networks, and nothing is sold or passed on.
What happens to the photo of my hand?
It doesn't leave the phone. It's analysed right there and discarded when you leave the screen, and the camera switches off when you leave that screen, however you leave it.
Why does it want to know where I am?
To sort the dark places you can go to by proximity, and to calculate the sky where you are: what time night falls, where the Moon rises. The coordinates are stored on your phone, aren't sent to any server, and delete themselves after a month.
How do I delete everything I have stored?
From the app's settings, or by clearing the site data in your browser. Since almost everything lives on your phone, that really does delete it.
